Description
These easy pizza sliders use soft rolls loaded with melty cheese and savory pepperoni for a quick, family-friendly dinner or party snack.
Ingredients
- 12 slider rolls sliced horizontally as one slab
- 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
- 8 ounces sliced beef pepperoni
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9 by 13 inch baking dish.
- Slice the rolls horizontally without separating them and place the bottom half into the baking dish.
- Spread half of the pizza sauce evenly over the rolls.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses over the sauce.
- Layer the pepperoni evenly over the cheese, then top with the remaining cheese.
- Spread the remaining pizza sauce onto the cut side of the roll tops and place them on the sliders.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush evenly over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and the tops are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
Notes
- Serve immediately or wrap leftovers and reheat in the oven until warmed through.
