Description

Tender roast beef, melted cheese, and savory flavor wrapped in crispy tortillas, served with warm au jus for an easy family meal or party appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound deli roast beef thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each tortilla.
  3. Layer the roast beef and shredded provolone cheese evenly over the tortillas.
  4. Roll the tortillas tightly and slice each into 4 equal pieces.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Place the tortilla roll ups seam side down in the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted.
  7. In a saucepan, whisk together the au jus gravy mix and water. Bring to a simmer and cook according to package directions.
  8. Serve the warm tortilla roll ups with the au jus dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Secure the roll ups with toothpicks before cooking if needed to help them hold their shape in the skillet.
