Description
Quick and delicious BBQ chicken naan pizzas topped with red onion, melted cheese, and cilantro. Perfect weeknight dinner in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 naan flatbreads
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (smoky or sweet)
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- Optional Garnish: Thinly sliced green onions, Extra BBQ sauce drizzle
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Place naan breads on the prepared sheets. Spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of BBQ sauce evenly on each, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese evenly across all naan.
- Top each naan with chicken, red onion, and the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
- Drizzle a bit more BBQ sauce over the top for extra flavor.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and the naan edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh cilantro and green onions if desired.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F before topping the pizzas.
