Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For coating: 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F for 3 minutes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently roll to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- Cut into donut shapes using a cutter or glass.
- Place donuts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 6 to 8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Brush warm donuts with melted butter.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and coat donuts evenly.
- Serve warm.
