Description

Soft, fluffy, and lightly crisp air fryer donuts with a sweet cinnamon sugar coating. Made with simple ingredients and no deep frying, they are a quick homemade treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For coating: 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F for 3 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently roll to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  6. Cut into donut shapes using a cutter or glass.
  7. Place donuts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  9. Brush warm donuts with melted butter.
  10. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and coat donuts evenly.
  11. Serve warm.
