Description

Deliciously gooey and satisfying banana oatmeal bars, perfect for a quick snack or grab-and-go breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (about 3 ripe ones)
  • ½ cup your favorite nut butter
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
  • ½ teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top if desired.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the bars are set.
  5. Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing and serving.
