Description

Ingredients

  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • 1 and one half cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 half cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter


Instructions

  1. Place four bread slices on a clean surface.
  2. Spread mayonnaise evenly over one side of each slice.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar evenly over the mayonnaise.
  4. Top with remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
  5. Spread softened butter lightly on the outside of each sandwich.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Cook the sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes per side until deeply golden and crisp.
  8. Press gently with a spatula to help the cheese melt fully.
