Description

Golden, crispy baked potato wedges seasoned with garlic, paprika, and herbs. Oven-baked to perfection — the perfect side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds russet potatoes, scrubbed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon cayenne for extra spice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each potato in half lengthwise, then into quarters, and finally into wedges (about 8 per potato). Keep them roughly the same size for even cooking.
  3. Place wedges in a large bowl and cover with hot water. Let soak for 10 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry thoroughly with a clean towel.
  4. In a large bowl, toss dried potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet with one cut side down.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm with ketchup, aioli, or your favorite dip.

Notes

  • For extra crispness, preheat your baking sheet in the oven for 5 minutes before adding the potatoes.
