Description
Ultra crispy air fryer gnocchi made in under 15 minutes. This recipe works with frozen or shelf-stable gnocchi, resulting in a golden, crunchy exterior and fluffy interior.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shelf-stable refrigerated or frozen potato gnocchi
- 1.5 tablespoons olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F for 3 minutes and lightly grease the basket.
- Add the gnocchi directly to a large bowl. Do not thaw if using frozen gnocchi.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Transfer gnocchi to the air fryer basket in a single layer with minimal overlap.
- Air fry for 12 minutes, shaking the basket every 4 minutes for even browning.
- Check for doneness. Air fry up to 3 minutes longer if needed for extra crispiness.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and immediately toss with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
Notes
- Serve immediately for maximum crispiness.
- This works well as a crunchy salad topper.
