Description

These chicken thighs have crispy skin and juicy meat. They cook fast in the air fryer for a simple weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 6 bone in skin on chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 half teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 half teaspoon onion powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to help the skin crisp.
  3. Rub the chicken with olive oil, then season evenly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
  4. Place the chicken thighs skin side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 10 to 12 minutes until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
