Description

Crispy and delicious banana chips made easily in the air fryer. A perfect sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) into rounds.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Toss the banana slices gently in the melted coconut oil to coat them all over.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the banana slices and toss lightly again.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  6. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they don’t overlap.
  7. Air fry for 15-18 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
  8. Let them cool completely on a wire rack. They’ll get even crispier. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure bananas are ripe but still firm for best results.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to achieve maximum crispiness.
