Description

Crispy, bite-sized shrimp alfredo rolls perfect for a special treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1.5 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season and cook the shrimp by tossing them with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until just pink.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Alfredo sauce and shredded mozzarella. Gently fold in the cooked shrimp.
  3. Spoon a few tablespoons of the shrimp Alfredo mixture into the center of each tortilla and roll them up tightly into small burritos.
  4. Set up a breading station. First, coat each burrito completely in flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally, roll it in the seasoned breadcrumbs until it’s fully crusted.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry each burrito for 3-4 minutes per side until it’s golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
