Description

Creamy garlic chicken ramen made in one pot with tender chicken, rich broth, and noodles for an easy comforting dinner in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 packs ramen noodles, seasoning packets discarded
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken strips with kosher salt and black pepper. Add the chicken to the pot and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and reduce the heat to medium-low.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the same pot and cook for 30 to 60 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce. Stir well and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the ramen noodles and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until tender but still slightly firm.
  7. Lower the heat to low and slowly stir in the heavy cream until fully combined. Do not allow the broth to boil after adding the cream.
  8. Return the cooked chicken to the pot and simmer gently for 1 minute until warmed through.
  9. Divide the noodles and broth among serving bowls and top with sliced green onions.
  10. Serve immediately while hot and creamy.

Notes

  • Keep the heat low after adding the cream to maintain a smooth broth texture.
  • For the best noodle texture, serve immediately after cooking.
