Ingredients
- 6 cups shredded cabbage (green or a mix of green and red)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon celery seed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine the shredded cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
- Whisk mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, mustard, celery seed, salt, and pepper in a separate medium bowl until the dressing is smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture. Toss everything until the vegetables are evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour so the flavors combine.
- Stir the coleslaw before you serve it to mix the dressing again.
