Description

This cowboy cream cheese spread is bold, creamy, and slightly spicy with mustard, herbs, and garlic. It is a quick recipe for entertaining or snacking.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper


Instructions

  1. Add the softened cream cheese to a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the Dijon mustard, dried chives, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, lemon juice, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Stir until completely smooth and evenly blended.
  4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix again to ensure even seasoning.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
