Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound beef sirloin steak cut into 1 inch cubes
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
Instructions
- Cut the steak into evenly sized 1 inch cubes and season with salt and black pepper on all sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat until shimmering.
- Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes without moving to form a crust.
- Flip and cook another 1 to 2 minutes until the steak reaches 145°F for medium doneness, then reduce heat to medium.
- Add butter, garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, paprika, cayenne pepper, and parsley to the skillet.
- Toss the steak bites in the melted butter for 1 minute until fully coated and glossy. Beef steak should reach a safe internal temperature before serving.
