Description

This classic meatloaf glaze recipe uses brown sugar for a sweet and tangy topping that perfectly caramelizes on your meatloaf.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • 1 ½ teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 ½ teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk well.
  2. Add the sauce to your meatloaf in an even layer over the top of the meatloaf mixture when it has about 15-20 minutes of cooking time remaining, then return to the oven.
  3. Cook the meatloaf for an additional 20 minutes, or until your meatloaf is completely cooked and the glaze has caramelized over the top.

Notes

This glaze is best applied during the last 15-20 minutes of cooking your meatloaf. Ensure the meatloaf is cooked through before serving.
