Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl with a fork. Stir in melted butter.
- Add baking soda and salt to the banana mixture, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Mix in sugar and beaten egg until combined.
- Gently add flour, avoiding over-mixing. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
