Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped into bite-size pieces
  • 2 cups uncooked orzo pasta
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken sausage and cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
