Ingredients
- 2 pounds mild chicken Italian sausages, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 ½ cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven broiler on high and line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil.
- Place sausage pieces in a large skillet or saucepan and pour in chicken broth. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, turning halfway through, until the sausages are cooked through and reach 165°F internally.
- Remove the sausage pieces and pat dry with paper towels. Discard any remaining broth.
- Arrange sausages on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Broil 4 inches from the heat source for 2 to 3 minutes per side, turning once, until browned and crisp at the edges.
- Meanwhile, whisk together mayonnaise, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, honey, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
- Transfer sausages to a serving platter and serve warm with the honey mustard dip on the side.
