Ingredients

  • 2 pounds mild chicken Italian sausages, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 ½ cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven broiler on high and line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil.
  2. Place sausage pieces in a large skillet or saucepan and pour in chicken broth. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, turning halfway through, until the sausages are cooked through and reach 165°F internally.
  4. Remove the sausage pieces and pat dry with paper towels. Discard any remaining broth.
  5. Arrange sausages on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Broil 4 inches from the heat source for 2 to 3 minutes per side, turning once, until browned and crisp at the edges.
  7. Meanwhile, whisk together mayonnaise, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, honey, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
  8. Transfer sausages to a serving platter and serve warm with the honey mustard dip on the side.
