Description

This chicken caesar burger is juicy, savory, and packed with classic Caesar flavor. It offers a fresh twist on chicken burgers, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pounds ground chicken
  • 1/3 cup finely grated parmesan style hard cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (for sauce)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped romaine lettuce
  • 4 burger buns toasted
  • 4 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Combine ground chicken, grated cheese, panko, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties about 3/4 inch thick.
  3. Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add olive oil.
  4. Cook the patties for 6 to 7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Place cheese slices on the patties during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
  6. Stir together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder in a small bowl to make the sauce.
  7. Spread sauce on the bottom buns. Top with chicken patties, romaine lettuce, and the top buns.
  8. Serve immediately.
