Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 and one quarter cups plain whole milk
- 1 third cup olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 375°F and grease an 8 by 4 inch loaf pan.
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
- Add the milk and olive oil and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in the mozzarella and cheddar until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Brush the top with melted butter.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing.
