Description
Juicy seasoned beef, crisp toppings, creamy house sauce, and crispy fries for an easy dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 teaspoons burger seasoning
- 1 bag frozen waffle fries, 22 ounces
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 ounce ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 3/4 cup diced burger pickles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the waffle fry package directions. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crisp.
- Remove the fries from the oven and immediately drizzle with melted butter. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the fries and toss until evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, grated garlic, and salt until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes until very hot.
- Press the ground beef into the skillet in one large flat layer. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of burger seasoning over the top.
- Cook the beef undisturbed for 3 to 4 minutes until deeply browned on the bottom.
- Flip the beef in large chunks and sprinkle with the remaining burger seasoning. Continue cooking for 3 to 4 minutes until the beef is fully cooked and browned in spots.
- Cook the ground beef to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F for safe serving.
- Divide the ranch fries among serving bowls. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, burger pickles, and the hot burger beef.
- Drizzle the house sauce over each bowl and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy fries, spread them in a single layer on the baking sheet and avoid overcrowding the pan.
