Description

Juicy seasoned beef, crisp toppings, creamy house sauce, and crispy fries for an easy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons burger seasoning
  • 1 bag frozen waffle fries, 22 ounces
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 ounce ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup diced burger pickles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the waffle fry package directions. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crisp.
  2. Remove the fries from the oven and immediately drizzle with melted butter. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the fries and toss until evenly coated.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, grated garlic, and salt until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. Heat a large cast iron skillet over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes until very hot.
  5. Press the ground beef into the skillet in one large flat layer. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of burger seasoning over the top.
  6. Cook the beef undisturbed for 3 to 4 minutes until deeply browned on the bottom.
  7. Flip the beef in large chunks and sprinkle with the remaining burger seasoning. Continue cooking for 3 to 4 minutes until the beef is fully cooked and browned in spots.
  8. Cook the ground beef to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F for safe serving.
  9. Divide the ranch fries among serving bowls. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, burger pickles, and the hot burger beef.
  10. Drizzle the house sauce over each bowl and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispy fries, spread them in a single layer on the baking sheet and avoid overcrowding the pan.
