Description
This buffalo chicken dip with cottage cheese is creamy, spicy, and high in protein. It is an easy baked dip perfect for parties or snacking.
Ingredients
- 2 cups small-curd cottage cheese
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- ½ cup buffalo sauce
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken breast
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
- 2 green onions sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8 by 8 baking dish.
- Add the cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, buffalo sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
- Transfer the blended mixture to a large bowl.
- Stir in the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, blue cheese, and green onions until evenly combined.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25 minutes until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Cooked chicken must reach an internal temperature of 165°F before shredding and adding to the dip.
