Description

This Buffalo Chicken Dip is a classic game day appetizer that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. It’s creamy, spicy, and cheesy, perfect for dipping with celery, crackers, or baguette slices.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (12.5oz each) chunk chicken, drained
  • 3/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce)
  • 2 packages (8oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bunch celery, for serving
  • 1 box chicken-flavored crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the drained chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat until heated through.
  2. Stir in the softened cream cheese and Ranch dressing. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is well blended and warm.
  3. Mix in half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Transfer the mixture to a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  4. Top the mixture with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  6. Serve immediately with celery sticks, carrot sticks, baguette slices, and crackers.

Notes

  • For a spicier dip, add more hot sauce to your preference.
  • You can substitute blue cheese dressing for Ranch dressing for a different flavor profile.
  • This dip can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
