Description
This Buffalo Chicken Dip is a classic game day appetizer that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. It’s creamy, spicy, and cheesy, perfect for dipping with celery, crackers, or baguette slices.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (12.5oz each) chunk chicken, drained
- 3/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce)
- 2 packages (8oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Ranch dressing
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bunch celery, for serving
- 1 box chicken-flavored crackers, for serving
Instructions
- Heat the drained chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat until heated through.
- Stir in the softened cream cheese and Ranch dressing. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is well blended and warm.
- Mix in half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Transfer the mixture to a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Top the mixture with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
- Serve immediately with celery sticks, carrot sticks, baguette slices, and crackers.
Notes
- For a spicier dip, add more hot sauce to your preference.
- You can substitute blue cheese dressing for Ranch dressing for a different flavor profile.
- This dip can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
