These BBQ Meatball Party Appetizers are saucy, tender, and perfect for feeding a crowd. Easy oven baked meatballs finished in bold BBQ sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef 85 percent lean
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire style sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk and let soak 1 minute.
- Add egg, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper and mix well.
- Gently mix in ground beef until just combined.
- Roll mixture into 1 1/2 inch meatballs about 1 1/2 ounces each and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 16 to 18 minutes until cooked through and browned.
- While meatballs bake, stir BBQ sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire style sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
- Transfer baked meatballs to the saucepan and gently stir to coat.
- Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until glossy and heated through.
- Serve warm with toothpicks.

- Cook ground beef meatballs to an internal temperature of 160°F before serving.
