Ingredients
- 1 pound large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, and red pepper flakes until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the shrimp and toss gently to coat each piece.
- Set air fryer to 400°F and preheat for 3 minutes.
- Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the basket without overlapping.
- Air fry for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check if shrimp are opaque, golden, and reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Transfer to a serving plate, sprinkle parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
