Crispy and savory fried pickles made in the air fryer, featuring a seasoned panko and smoked turkey coating.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dill pickle slices
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped smoked turkey
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Pat the pickle slices dry with a paper towel.
- Prepare three shallow bowls: place flour in one, beat eggs in the second, and mix panko, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and smoked turkey in the third.
- Dredge pickle slices in flour, then dip in egg, then coat in the panko mixture.
- Arrange coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Spray pickles lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with desired dipping sauce.
