Description
Air fryer crispy chickpeas with smoky garlic seasoning. A healthy, high protein snack ready fast.
Ingredients
- 1 can 15 ounces chickpeas drained rinsed and thoroughly dried
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 half teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 quarter teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 quarter teaspoon onion powder
- 1 quarter teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 eighth teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Spread them on a clean kitchen towel and pat them completely dry. Let them air dry for 30 to 60 minutes for best crispness.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
- Transfer the dried chickpeas to a medium bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Toss again to coat thoroughly.
- Spread the chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket.
- Air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes. Shake the basket every 4 to 5 minutes. Cook until golden brown and crispy.
- Let the chickpeas cool for 5 minutes before you serve them.
