Description

Air fryer chicken thighs that are crispy outside and juicy inside. A low carb, easy dinner perfect for quick weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 4 bone in chicken thighs, about 6 to 8 ounces each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to help the skin crisp up during cooking.
  2. Rub the chicken with olive oil, then season evenly with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees for 3 minutes.
  4. Place the chicken thighs skin side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 12 minutes, then flip the chicken thighs skin side up.
  6. Continue cooking for 10 to 12 minutes until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer to ensure even crisping.
  • For extra crisp skin, cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes if needed.
  • Cook chicken to a safe minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees.
