Ingredients

  • pounds chicken tenders (about 12 pieces)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (for sauce)
  • ¼ cup hot sauce (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (for sauce)
  • Pinch of salt (for sauce)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
  2. Crack the eggs into a shallow bowl and whisk with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, combine almond flour, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the egg, then coat evenly with the almond flour mixture.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange chicken in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
  6. Spray the tops with oil and air fry for 7 minutes.
  7. Flip, spray again, and cook for another 4–5 minutes, until golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
