Description
This air fryer salmon is crispy, tender, and covered in a creamy sweet and spicy sauce. It makes a quick dinner using simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 half teaspoon salt
- 1 half teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 half cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
- While the salmon cooks, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, honey, and lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth.
- Remove the salmon from the air fryer and drizzle or brush the bang bang sauce over the top.
- Serve immediately with extra sauce if desired.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to make sure cooking is even and edges are crisp. Cook in batches if you need to.
