Description

This air fryer salmon is crispy, tender, and covered in a creamy sweet and spicy sauce. It makes a quick dinner using simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 half teaspoon salt
  • 1 half teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 half cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. While the salmon cooks, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, honey, and lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth.
  5. Remove the salmon from the air fryer and drizzle or brush the bang bang sauce over the top.
  6. Serve immediately with extra sauce if desired.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to make sure cooking is even and edges are crisp. Cook in batches if you need to.
