Description
Crispy air fryer bagel pizzas with seasoned crust and melty cheese. A quick 10 minute snack or easy lunch.
Ingredients
- 2 standard plain bagels sliced in half
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 quarter teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 quarter teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 third cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons finely grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
- Brush the cut sides of each bagel half with olive oil. Sprinkle evenly with garlic powder and dried oregano.
- Place the bagel halves cut side up in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 3 minutes until lightly golden and crisp on the edges.
- Remove the bagels from the air fryer. Spread about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce over each half.
- Divide the shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Return the assembled bagel pizzas to the air fryer. Cook at 370 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 4 minutes until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
- Let cool for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Toasting the bagels before adding sauce helps prevent a soggy crust and keeps the edges crisp.
