Ingredients
- 2 large Honeycrisp or Gala apples peeled cored and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup divided
- 1 tablespoon melted refined coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F for 3 minutes.
- Add the apple cubes to a medium bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and cinnamon. Toss until evenly coated.
- Transfer the apples to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Check for doneness. Apples should be tender inside with lightly browned edges. Air fry 2 to 4 minutes longer if needed.
- Transfer the hot apples to a bowl and immediately drizzle with the remaining 1 tablespoon maple syrup. Toss gently and serve warm.
