Description

Tender air fryer apples coated in warm cinnamon glaze. This easy air fryer apples recipe is perfect for dessert, snacks, or breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 large Honeycrisp or Gala apples peeled cored and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup divided
  • 1 tablespoon melted refined coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the apple cubes to a medium bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and cinnamon. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Transfer the apples to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
  4. Air fry for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Check for doneness. Apples should be tender inside with lightly browned edges. Air fry 2 to 4 minutes longer if needed.
  6. Transfer the hot apples to a bowl and immediately drizzle with the remaining 1 tablespoon maple syrup. Toss gently and serve warm.
