Description

Delicious Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies with a fudgy brownie base, creamy cheesecake layer, and a rich caramel topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (1.5 ounce) Milky Way Midnight bar, roughly chopped
  • 1 (1.5 ounce) Milky Way bar, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing until just combined.
  3. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly. Bake for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk, granulated sugar, and water. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly, then reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in the butter and heavy cream until smooth.
  5. Pour the caramel sauce over the partially baked brownie base. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the caramel layer.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until the cheesecake layer is set. Let cool completely, then sprinkle with chopped Milky Way bars.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For best results, refrigerate overnight before serving.
  • Ensure the brownie base is only partially baked before adding the caramel and cheesecake layers.
  • Feel free to use other chocolate bars as toppings if desired.
