Description
Crispy honey garlic salmon features golden seared fillets coated in a sweet-savory glaze. This is an easy, quick recipe perfect for dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 skin-on salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup pure honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- Lemon wedges
Instructions
- Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat completely dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice until well combined. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes, without moving, until the skin is crisp and golden.
- Gently flip the fillets and spoon half of the glaze over the tops. Continue cooking for 3–4 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Drizzle the remaining glaze over the salmon and cook for 30 seconds more to thicken. Remove from heat.
- Sprinkle chopped green onions on top and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
- If you prefer a deeper flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 20–30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve with steamed rice or roasted vegetables.
