Description

Crispy honey garlic salmon features golden seared fillets coated in a sweet-savory glaze. This is an easy, quick recipe perfect for dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 skin-on salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup pure honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • Lemon wedges


Instructions

  1. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat completely dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice until well combined. Set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes, without moving, until the skin is crisp and golden.
  4. Gently flip the fillets and spoon half of the glaze over the tops. Continue cooking for 3–4 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  5. Drizzle the remaining glaze over the salmon and cook for 30 seconds more to thicken. Remove from heat.
  6. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • If you prefer a deeper flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 20–30 minutes before cooking.
