Ingredients
- 1½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Cooked rice or roasted vegetables (to serve)
Instructions
- Combine flour, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl or zip-top bag. Add chicken pieces and toss until coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through to 165°F.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl while the chicken cooks. Stir in minced garlic and parsley.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the cooked chicken and toss to coat evenly.
- Cook for 1 additional minute to let flavors combine.
- Serve immediately with rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
