Description

Make juicy garlic butter chicken bites in one skillet. This quick 15-minute meal packs flavor, perfect for weeknights or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Cooked rice or roasted vegetables (to serve)

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl or zip-top bag. Add chicken pieces and toss until coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through to 165°F.
  3. Melt butter in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl while the chicken cooks. Stir in minced garlic and parsley.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the cooked chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Cook for 1 additional minute to let flavors combine.
  6. Serve immediately with rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.

Notes

  • For the best sear, avoid stirring the chicken too often; let it brown before flipping.
