These chocolate quinoa crisps offer a crunchy, rich, and simple treat using puffed quinoa and melted dark chocolate. This is an easy, no-bake dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 cups puffed quinoa
- 7 ounces dark chocolate chopped
- ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Place the puffed quinoa in a dry skillet over medium heat. Toast for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly, until crisp and lightly fragrant. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
- Add the chopped chocolate to a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Stir the toasted quinoa and sea salt into the melted chocolate until evenly coated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop teaspoon sized mounds of the mixture onto the sheet and gently press into small discs.
- Refrigerate for 25 to 30 minutes until firm and set. Serve the crisps.
