Description

These chocolate quinoa crisps offer a crunchy, rich, and simple treat using puffed quinoa and melted dark chocolate. This is an easy, no-bake dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups puffed quinoa
  • 7 ounces dark chocolate chopped
  • ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt


Instructions

  1. Place the puffed quinoa in a dry skillet over medium heat. Toast for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly, until crisp and lightly fragrant. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  2. Add the chopped chocolate to a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Stir the toasted quinoa and sea salt into the melted chocolate until evenly coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop teaspoon sized mounds of the mixture onto the sheet and gently press into small discs.
  6. Refrigerate for 25 to 30 minutes until firm and set. Serve the crisps.
