Description

A delightful ooey-gooey chocolate chip cookie baked in a skillet, perfect for sharing and customizing with various add-ins.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup colorful M&M’s


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the skillet.
  2. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time and mix well, then add the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and M&M’s.
  6. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared skillet.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the center is soft.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes, then serve warm, ideally with ice cream.
