Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Persian blue salt finely ground
- 1 cup water room temperature or cold
- A few drops of lemon juice optional
- 1 teaspoon honey for sweetening, if desired
- 2-3 mint leaves optional
Instructions
- First, pour 1 cup of water in a glass or bowl.
- Then add 1 teaspoon of Persian blue salt to it. Mix the salt well with the water, until it dissolves completely.
- If you want, you can add a few drops of lemon juice. Mix it well.
- You can add 1 teaspoon of honey to sweeten it. If you add honey, you should also mix it well.
- Finally, if you like, garnish it with mint leaves and serve. If you want to drink it cold, add crushed ice.
Notes
- Adjust salt to taste, but avoid using too much as it can make the drink overly salty.
- Add cucumber slices for a detoxifying effect and to keep the body clean.
- If you don’t have Persian blue salt, substitute with pink salt, though the taste and benefits may differ.
- For a fizzy drink, replace plain water with soda water.
- Do not heat the water to preserve the blue salt’s properties.
