Description
Warm, caramelized air fryer apples tossed with cinnamon and maple syrup. A quick, cozy dessert or snack that tastes like apple pie filling. These are sweet, tender, and full of comforting flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 large red apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil (refined for no coconut flavor)
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup, divided
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or oatmeal (optional for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F and lightly spray the basket with oil.
- In a medium bowl, combine apple cubes, coconut oil, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir until evenly coated.
- Spread apples in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and tender.
- Transfer warm apples to a bowl and drizzle with the remaining 1 tablespoon maple syrup. Toss gently to coat.
- Serve warm on their own, over oatmeal, or topped with vanilla ice cream.
